#ootd | favorite jeans

as anyone who has ever shopped for jeans knows, finding the perfect pair is quite a tall order. most days, i prefer my denim to be a skinny fit. i know how i want them to look and i know how i want them to feel. I want them to look skinny, but I want them to feel comfortable. i know, i'm asking for the moon. luckily, i found my favorite go-to pair of jeans in the guess fairfax skinny fit jeans. i mean, i bought two pairs! same wash and all. 

as a retail manager, photographer, social media addict, etc. i am always on the run. i love this wash, although i typically lean toward darker denim. the versatility of the color lends to casual outings and they are perfect to grab from the closet on those days when i don't want to put too much thought into my day.

another reason i love these skinny jeans is that they work well with what is becoming my signature look. the beauty in this blog and my obsessive #ootd posts on instagram (@rich_houser - follow me!) is that i can look back through my style evolution. i've learned about myself that i love knits! honestly, if you saw my collection of tee shirts and knit tops you would probably be appalled. aside from knits, i love layers! casual, dressy - you name it. vests, denim shirts, blazers, jackets - all of the above. this style works perfectly for me because i stay on the go and it's transitional.
